Services
Your pet, whether it is a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, is a beloved member of the family. It will be treated competently and with care in our practice.
We understand that as a veterinary practice, we are the point of contact for all questions relating to your pet. Thanks to our diagnostic capabilities, we can resolve many issues directly in our practice. In special cases, we will refer you to specialist veterinary practices or specialist animal clinics. This ensures that your pet always receives the best possible care.

The internal medicine services offered by our veterinary practice include:

- Diabetes
- Thyroid disorders

- Poisoning
Dental treatments
Dental health is also becoming increasingly important for our pets, and the variety of dental diseases is similar to that seen in humans.
We offer dental treatment for dogs, cats and small pets.
For dogs and cats, this includes professional teeth cleaning under anaesthesia (ultrasonic tartar removal followed by polishing) and a thorough examination of each tooth. The full extent of the disease can only be determined under anaesthesia.
For small pets, dental corrections and tooth extractions are also performed under anaesthesia.
Cardiology: ECG, blood pressure measurement
The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a diagnostic tool used in cardiac examinations.
It records the electrical currents in the heart over time and provides information about heart rhythm and frequency.
The ECG examination is relatively simple to perform and is not painful for your animal.
Blood pressure measurement is a painless and low-stress procedure for the immediate detection of hypertension (high blood pressure) and hypotension (low blood pressure). Early detection of various underlying conditions (obesity, age, sudden blindness, etc.) associated with high or low blood pressure is crucial for your pet’s prognosis.
Diagnostic lab
In our on-site emergency laboratory, we can obtain important laboratory results within minutes – without long waiting times or external laboratories.
With a blood count and organ values, we can immediately assess your pet’s state of health. Especially in an emergency, rapid clarification of blood and organ values can be life-saving – whether in cases of poisoning, infection or organ disease.
Urine tests provide valuable information about infections or kidney problems. This allows us to treat quickly before more serious complications arise.
For breeders, we offer progesterone measurement to determine the optimal mating time. This precise measurement significantly increases the chances of a successful pregnancy.
Day hospital admission
We know, of course, that your four-legged friend prefers to be at home with you – but in the case of certain illnesses, inpatient treatment and monitoring are urgently required.
These include, for example, breathing difficulties, patients who need an infusion, or animals who require intensive pain therapy.
Even after operations performed at our clinic, patients are brought to our ward boxes to wake up in peace and under supervision. Providing good care and support for our patients is very important to us.
We work under the motto: TENDER – LOVE – AND CARE
Among other things, this means that there is never a shortage of cuddles.
Vaccination, vaccination advice, microchipping
Regular vaccinations protect our four-legged friends for life.
If you want to take your four-legged friend with you on trips or holidays, certain vaccinations are essential to protect them from disease.
A valid rabies vaccination, including an EU pet passport and microchip, is mandatory if you want to holiday outside Germany.
The microchip is used to identify animals and thus assign them to their owners. The microchip, which is about the size of a grain of rice, is implanted under the skin on the left side of the animal’s neck. This can be done at any time without anaesthesia. However, it is important to register with the pet registry! In addition to the unique identification of the animal, there are now also microchip-activated cat flaps and microchip-activated automatic feeders.
Nutrition advice / feed advice
Feeding your pet is part of every pet owner’s daily routine.
Due to the vast and confusing range of pet foods available, pet owners often ask themselves questions such as:
- Is the amount of food appropriate for my pet’s nutritional needs?
- Is the combination of foods I am using appropriate?
- And many more.
Veterinary nutritional advice helps you to feed your pet a balanced diet that meets its needs and promotes performance.
Feed advice covers topics such as:
- Advice for specific life stages (growth, lactation, sporting dogs, old age, etc.)
- Nutritional advice for medical conditions (gastrointestinal issues, intolerances, allergies, tumours, etc.)
- Individual feeding advice (ready-made food, BARF, home-cooked food, etc.)
Grooming and paw care (clipping claws, trimming)
Clipping a dog’s claws is an important part of grooming, but it is often associated with stress and anxiety for both the dog and the owner. We are happy to assist you by trimming your four-legged friend’s claws. We are also happy to give you tips on how you can do it yourself with the right technique and a lot of patience.
A cat’s claws only need to be trimmed in rare cases. Cats usually shorten their claws themselves on scratching posts. However, older cats may find that their claws no longer shorten sufficiently on their own, but instead grow “round” and sometimes penetrate the pads. In this case, the claws should be trimmed regularly.
Shearing under anaesthesia If your four-legged friend’s coat is so matted that combing it would severely test their patience and tolerance, it should be sheared. Long-haired cats in particular suffer from their coats becoming matted.
In such cases, shearing under anaesthesia is often the only solution.
Home visits
In special cases, we also offer home visits. Whether this is possible depends primarily on staff availability and the number of patients at the practice, as we are not primarily focused on home visits.
Whether a home visit is appropriate and possible for you and your animal in the current case can often be clarified in advance by telephone.
If your animal has reached the end of its life and you are ready to put it to sleep, we also offer euthanasia at your home so that you can say goodbye to your animal in familiar surroundings.
